E-commerce Operations Systems

Know when your e-commerce systems disagree.

We help growing e-commerce teams catch mismatched orders, stock, product data and payouts across the systems they already use—then assign each issue and track it until it is fixed.

So problems are found before they become delayed orders, refunds or month-end surprises.

Do any of these sound familiar?

Proof system 01

Order & fulfilment exception control

A working demonstration of how a post-purchase failure — an order stuck between storefront, warehouse and shipping systems — gets detected, assigned, investigated, resolved, verified and closed, with a complete audit trail at every step.

Synthetic demo data only. This is an independent, local demonstration built with synthetic order, customer and fulfilment data. There is no live storefront, warehouse, 3PL, or carrier connection, and this is not a representation of a production client deployment.

Proof system 02

Revenue & catalog reliability control

A working demonstration of how catalog, inventory, pricing and product-feed data drifting out of sync gets detected, assigned, repaired, verified and audited — before it silently affects revenue or customer experience.

Synthetic demo data only. This is an independent, local demonstration built with synthetic product, inventory and feed data. There is no live Shopify, ERP, warehouse, or feed-platform connection, and this is not a representation of a production client deployment.

Coverage

What operational controls can cover

Revenue & Catalog Reliability

Product/catalog errors, pricing or merchandising mismatches, revenue-impacting data failures, missing ownership and escalation.

Order, Inventory & Fulfilment Reliability

Delayed, stuck, misrouted or mismatched orders, inventory/allocation issues, warehouse and shipment exceptions, customer-notification gaps.

Reconciliation & Exception Control

Shopify/Amazon/ERP/3PL/accounting mismatches, payout, order, refund, fee and inventory reconciliation, exception queues and audit trails.

Customer & Operational Data Handoffs

Broken transitions between storefront, CRM, support, warehouse, finance and reporting systems, duplicate or stale records, missing status updates, silent automation failures.

Engagement path

A narrow start, then a clear path forward

Stage 1

Operations Reliability Diagnostic

A paid, narrow assessment of one operational workflow.

  • Map one recurring workflow.
  • Identify failures, impact and ownership.
  • Recommend the smallest reliable fix.
Stage 2

Reliability Control Sprint

A fixed-scope implementation solving one recurring operational failure.

  • Build one focused operational control.
  • Route issues to the correct owner.
  • Add verification and human approval.
  • Test, document and hand over.
Stage 3

Monitoring and Improvement Retainer

Ongoing support after a successful sprint.

  • Monitor recurring failures.
  • Improve rules and controls.
  • Add small, justified improvements.
Who you'll work with

Direct, hands-on work from discovery to handover

I'm Shahmeer Rashid. I work directly with e-commerce operators and specialist partners to understand the workflow, find where it breaks, design the smallest reliable fix, test it and document it clearly.

You will not be passed between a sales team and a separate delivery team.

Who this is for

Best-fit clients and partners

Good fit

  • Founders/owners and operations leads at e-commerce brands with real transaction volume
  • COOs, e-commerce managers, heads of fulfilment/logistics or CX/support
  • Finance/operations managers reconciling payouts, refunds or fees across systems
  • 3PL, ERP, accounting, or e-commerce agency partners looking for a complementary control-layer specialist

Not a fit right now

  • There is no repeated operational problem or enough transaction volume to justify a dedicated control.
  • The requirement is to replace an entire ERP, OMS, WMS or commerce platform.
  • Sensitive financial or customer actions must run without human approval.
  • The requirement is only a disconnected, one-off automation rather than a reliable operating process.
Approach

How the work proceeds

  1. Understand the workflow. What should happen, which systems are involved and who owns each part.
  2. Find where it breaks. How the problem is discovered today, what it affects and how it is currently repaired.
  3. Build the smallest reliable fix. Improve the process, configure an existing tool or build a focused control only where needed.
  4. Verify and hand over. Confirm the problem is genuinely resolved, then document how the system works and how to review it.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you use AI?

Sometimes. AI can help sort messy information, classify an issue or summarize what happened. It does not make sensitive financial or operational decisions on its own. Clear rules and human approval stay in control.

Will this replace our Shopify, ERP, OMS, WMS or accounting software?

No. We connect and monitor the tools you already use. The work may include integrations, data checks, exception routing, ownership, approvals and audit history—but it does not replace your core commerce, warehouse, ERP or accounting platforms.

Are sensitive actions automated?

No. Sensitive or money-related actions always need a human sign-off. The goal is to surface and track issues clearly, not to act on your behalf without approval.

Are the proof systems shown above live production software?

No. Both proof systems above are demonstrations built with made-up, sample data. Neither is connected to a real store, warehouse, ERP, feed system, or customer, and neither is a real client project.

What happens in the Operations Reliability Diagnostic?

A narrow, paid review of one operational workflow — mapping how it works today, showing where it breaks and what that costs, clarifying who owns which data, and recommending a clear next step.

Do you work with agencies, 3PLs, accountants or other e-commerce specialists?

Yes. Partners like 3PLs, prep centres, e-commerce agencies, accountants and bookkeepers, fractional CFOs, and ERP/OMS/WMS consultants often refer or work alongside this kind of project — usually as a complementary specialist, not a competing service.

Have one recurring operations problem?

Bring the workflow, the systems involved and what keeps going wrong. We'll work out whether it needs a process change, an existing tool or a focused control.
